This study tends to shed light the role of international trade process through imports by providing the important need and filling the domestic demand lack and gap. As well as the role of the imports of adrar state in Algeria from the coastal countries like Mali and Niger  wither the framework of barter   trade in providing some of the basic needs of society and covering the increasing domestic consumption during the period of study 1995-2016, this saw a continous  increase and developed demand on it although there were many obstacle that face it like protective procedures and security ones
