The commitment to corporate social responsibility is now claimed by many companies under both the market economy and the social economy, namely cooperatives. CSR is not new for cooperatives. Since their creation, they know that their actions affect many different backgrounds, including employees, the community and the environment in which they operate. In many ways, the cooperative movement has pioneered the development and implementation of CSR thus following a sustainable development perspective.The purpose of this article is to understand how cooperatives, apprehend the concept of CSR through the case study of COPAG. The main question is: How is built CSR strategy in the case of COPAG? How does this approach appropriate? And what are the assessment tools?
