Résumé
In Morocco, the contribution of cooperative enterprises remains to be improved. According to the Cooperative Development Office (CEDO), the share of the sector in the creation of global wealth in 2015 is barely 1.6% of GDP and the sector represents only 3% of the active population. Several constraints hinder the development of the sector. Of all the constraints, those relating to governance are little studied although they have been emphasized in several official reports. In this work, we are interested in the question of the governance of cooperatives in the sector of the argan in the province Inzegane / Ait Melloul. The information gathering is based initially on a documentary analysis based essentially on the minutes of the general assemblies of the seven cooperatives of the province studied. The results show that the most problematic aspects of cooperative governance are linked to the governance regime adopted, participatory democracy and training and education.
