LA THEORIE DE DEVELOPPEMENT MORAL VERSUS LA THEORIE DE L’EVOLUTION DE LA CONSCIENCE DE L’ENTREPRISE
Kohlberg is certainly credited with the theory of moral development, even if his work is based on that of Piaget, whose studies focused on children. This Kohlberg’s model maintains that an individual’s moral development should be reflected in the ethical nature of their actions. I also have my criticisms, so I prefer to elaborate on my theory of corporate conscience. According to my theory, it is professional conscience that determines a company’s moral development. It postulates that every company can have four stages in its evolution, which are consecutive, successive and reversible. It changes according to the company’s stage of development. The new theory is particularly useful when applied by management, because the development of organisational conscience can allow a company to achieve a fundamental objective that is specific to each stage in its development.
